His incredible home in Deer Harbor, WA, just won the Editor’s Choice in the 2024 Residential Architect Design Awards for the Spotlight Focus Fireplace category. That central fireplace isn’t just a stunning feature—it’s a symbol of warmth and unity, linking the living and dining areas and offering the perfect spot for family gatherings. Designed with nature in mind, this home blends seamlessly with its surroundings, offering breathtaking views of the water, abundant natural light, and a strong connection to the outdoors. From the outdoor terrace to the treehouse for the kids, every corner of this house nurtures family bonds and creativity. When Wes visited Orcas Island for the weekend, he was thrilled to stay in the detached guest room "tree house"" Another key feature Wes truly appreciated was its near 400' ft of private Puget Sound beach. Although we weren’t directly involved in this latest masterpiece, we couldn’t help but celebrate its well-deserved recognition, innovation, and success!
